AZ INSPIRE grid now also available for Switzerland and Austria

New international market data from AZ Direct

The comprehensive demographical market data that has previously been offered in the German “INSPIRE-Grid” project by multi-channel marketing expert AZ Direct, is now also available for Switzerland and Austria.
On the basis of the German Audience Targeting System AZ DIAS and the Austrian and Swiss databases A-plus and CH-plus, the experts at AZ Direct have created country-specific and cross-border packages of socio-demographic data for the entire DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).
The new grid data for the DACH region assists international companies in comparing and analyzing their markets or specific areas, prospects, and opportunities across borders.
Data is provided on grid sizes of 100 x 100 m, 250 x 250 m, 500 x 500 m, 1 x 1 km, 2 x 2 km, 5 x 5 km, and 10 x 10 km. All data can be provided both as raw data files and as digital map files (SHAPE format).
All grid cells correspond to the European INSPIRE-Grid, a requirement of the European Parliament and Council for the creation of an
“Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community.”
The data can thus also be used by individual municipalities, municipal associations, and federal authorities as a supplement or reference to their own INSPIRE-related official data and projects.
“With this unique range of market data that spans Germany, Austria and Switzerland, borders are no longer important in this region. Now, the markets in these countries and locations in cities such as Munich, Vienna, and Zurich can be directly compared. This new dataset forms the perfect basis for analysis and evaluation in the context of area-based tasks – both in terms of governmental affairs and in the private sector,” says Peter Kothe, expert in geomarketing and location intelligence at AZ Direct and sales manager for Business Intelligence & Content.
