2005

  • Merger between the arvato companies AZ Direct and BFS finance, and the InFoScore group, the new company is headquartered in Baden-Baden

2004

  • Fusion of the already to the AZ Direct-group belonging Swiss directmarketing-specialist SPDS and dm-plus Direktmarketing AG to the AZ Direct AG, Switzerland
  • Takeover of the Swiss dm-group from the bwv holding, including the dm-plus Direktmarketing AG, St. Gallen, the dm michelotti AG, Rotkreuz and the dm-plus Direktmarketing GmbH, Vienna Formation of Abacus Deutschland (Düsseldorf), a joint venture between AZ Direct and Doubleclick.

  • bedirect (Gütersloh/Neuss) is founded as a joint venture of the business department of AZ Direct and Creditreform
  • AZ starts online list brokering system with E-mail lists; markets webmiles exclusively, Europe’s leading cross trade online bonus program

  • Produces information mailing when Deutsche Post AG first issued shares, sends mailing to 30 million households
  • Cooperation with Acxiom a worldwide leading company in customer data integration and CRM
  • Expanding services portfolio by online direct marketing (E-mail direct marketing)

  • Integration into Bertelsmann Services Group, business field: data management
  • Restructuring of AZ national businesses, bundling sales areas and expanding data material business
  • Development as a leading information provider and dialog marketing expert in Europe

  • Assigned to the board for industries. Renamed as AZ Direct Direct
  • Founding Swiss Post Data Services, a joint venture with the Schweizer Post
